I recently asked you all what questions you would ask me if we got to spend a day together. There were an overwhelming number of questions on what to do if you’re new.
More than ever before, people are taking on new endeavors. COVID-19 has changed our lives and the way we do everything.
So, today, I’m giving you some time-tested strategies you can do if you’re new.
The strategies are: begin with the end in mind, create a 90-day roadmap, make a list of what you know, get organized, and pick your pony and ride it.
You need to physically write down the answers to these questions: What do I want? What do I love? Why am I doing this? Answering these questions will give you a solid understanding of why you’re doing what you’re doing. Otherwise, when things get tough, you’ll leave your business and search for the next big thing.
Additionally, chunk your time backward. Figure out what you need in terms of sales and contacts over the next 90 days. Decide on the income-producing activity you must do every day in order to reach your goals. Make a list of everything you do know about the next 90 days and who you know that can help you.
Finally, think about what you want the future to look like and ride that pony for a while. Find the sweet spot to get into for the next 90 days where your vision meets your execution.
If you put all of these tips together, you will have the secret sauce for getting started in business. You’ll have a clear strategy for the next 90 days that will equip you to crush your goals.
