Today I am telling you about one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received. It’s one that has affected how I’ve lived out my life since 2016.
If you know my story, you know that my former fiance died on Christmas Day in 2016. Before he died, he gave me the gift of telling me, “Truly live. Never waste a day.”
He was right. Today matters. Living intentionally affects every area of your health, financials, relationships, and future. But what does being intentional even mean?
When I talk about intentionality, I’m talking about living your life on purpose, with a purpose. I’m talking about designing your life, waking up every day knowing what’s important to you, and making decisions based on those things. I’m talking about making a decision to grow forward with one small action every day.
To start living intentionally, firstly ask yourself, “What is required of me?” Figure out what you must do every day to get what you want.
Then ask, “What gives me the greatest return?” Look at your time and focus attention on those things in your activities that give you the greatest return.
Finally, ask, “What gives me the greatest reward?” This is the thing that makes you wake up and say, “I can’t believe I get to do this today.”
